Issue

A discrepancy was detected in the Commuting destination data released on November 29, 2017. This affected the "Commuting destination" variable (stubset) found in the "Journey to work" section of the Census Profile.

For some records of employed persons who were absent from work during the Census week, the relationship between residence and place of work (Commuting Destination variable) was calculated incorrectly. The problem affects all geographic levels for the "Commuting destination" stubset within the Journey to Work topic in the Census Profile. This issue does not have an impact on the published analysis or any other data in the Census Profile.

Resolution

The data have been corrected and reloaded for the Census Profile (HTML view). New download files have also been generated and loaded.
