Flow diagram between major field of study and occupation, 2021 Census of Population
This interactive chart shows relationships between groupings of Major field of study (Classification of Instructional Programs) and occupation (National Occupational Classification), for people aged 25 to 64 who had a trades, college, or university qualification and worked at any time between January 2020 and May 2021. For example, to look at the occupations of people in a specific field of study and with a specific level of education (e.g., a bachelor's degree in science and science technology), select the desired categories from the "Major field of study" and "Highest certificate, diploma, or degree" drop-down menus. The other drop-down menus — location of study, immigrant status, gender and geography — allow for more detailed selections if desired (e.g., immigrant women with a bachelor's degree in science and science technology that was completed in Canada).
