Income Highlight Tables, 2016 Census

The Income Highlight Tables provide income data from the Census of Population, for various geographic levels and census years.

Data tables

Median household total income and after-tax income by household type

These tables provide household counts by household type (including census family structure), median household total income and median household after-tax income from the 2016 and 2006 censuses, for select geographic areas.

Median total income, after-tax income and employment income for income recipients by sex

These tables provide counts of the total population aged 15 years and over, the number of income recipients, median income amounts and the percentage change in median income amounts from the 2016 and 2006 censuses, by sex, for select geographic areas.

Low-income statistics by age groups

These tables provide the number and proportion of persons in low income, by age groups using the Low-income measure, after tax (LIM-AT) and the Low-income cut-offs, after tax (LICO-AT), from the 2016 and 2006 censuses, for select geographic areas.
