• In 2016, the enumerated population of Kananaskis (Improvement district) was 221, which represents a change of -11.2% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 11.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Kananaskis (Improvement district) is 4,213.95 square kilometres and the population density was 0.1 people per square kilometre.
