Population, 2016 and 2011 censuses

• In 2016, the enumerated population of Vermilion River County (Municipal district) was 8,267, which represents a change of 4.6% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 11.6% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Vermilion River County (Municipal district) is 5,519.75 square kilometres and the population density was 1.5 people per square kilometre.
