• In 2016, the enumerated population of Saskatoon census metropolitan area (CMA) was 295,095, which represents a change of 12.5% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 6.3% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Saskatoon is 5,890.71 square kilometres and the population density was 50.1 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 115,283 private dwellings occupied in Saskatoon, which represent a change of 10.0% from 2011.
