• In 2016, the enumerated population of Whitehorse census agglomeration (CA) was 28,225, which represents a change of 8.4% from 2011. This compares to the territorial average of 5.8% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Whitehorse is 8,488.95 square kilometres and the population density was 3.3 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 11,625 private dwellings occupied in Whitehorse, which represent a change of 10.5% from 2011.
